redemption code

Question

I got a refund in the form of a gift card. Where do I find the redemption code so I can apply it to a purchase?

"I got a refund in the form of a gift card ." @ximpe Was this a refund to a gift card you used for the purchase originally, or did you choose to accept a gift card in lieu of a refund back to your payment source? Would like to know if it's latter, if it automatically appears in your account (at checkout, or in your Payments/Wallet), or if you have to add it to your account first.

The funds from the gift card will appear at checkout as a checkbox option to apply to the new purchase automatically linked to your account.

My understanding is that when you go to ebay Checkout, you should see the gift card amount available to use to make the purchase.
