Mentor3 years agoIf it has been that long, then likely eBay has removed the account to prevent it from being hijacked.
Back in 2014 eBay sent out messages to users to change passwords due to a potential security issue, and users that did not change passwords had accounts removed. In addition, eBay will preemptively suspend and remove accounts that are not signed in to regularly after a certain period of time has elapsed.
If you can register a new eBay account using the same email address used to create the original account, that is a sign that the original account has been removed (or that the email address has been changed, at least).
