Recieved 1 item when 2 were advertised
I bought from a listing that showed 2 of the same item in picture and description said 2 which was why I bought it.
But I only recieved one
Contacted seller and they said I misunderstood and said they had 2 for sale and that I may have been the second buyer and understood how that would be confusing.
They apologized for the confusion and were professional and kind.
I usually see listing that show multiple items state that your only recieving one but this didn't. If it shows and says 2 I'd assume I'd receive 2 unless otherwise stated
They don't offer returns
What should I do?

Do you have an item # or link to the listing page?

thank you for the link.
The seller listed it incorrectly. The title and pictures indicated 2 items but they listed it whereby the buyer could choose the quantity. If I was the buyer (you) I would assume that if I chose "1", I would get both items.
The seller needed to show ONE item, with the title indicating ONE item and the buyer could choose to purchase one item or two of the identical item.
If you do not want the one item you received, you can file a Return Request under Ebay's Money Back Guarantee for the valid reason "Does not match description or pictures".

OP1 year agoThank you for your answer. 🙂 it's very helpful.
I think I'll do the return request as you suggested tommorow.
Do you recommend asking the buyer first before doing a return request? The listing says no returns but I have not asked them in a message yet.
I feel bad about it and I hope the seller will not be mad, it's just not what I thought I was paying for.

I would not ask first. They listed the item incorrectly and they should be aware of that when you file the return request.
Good luck!
