Receiving payments
So I recently sold an item on eBay and my app says awaiting payment but the buyer is telling me they paid already so I received an email saying the paid but my app doesn’t say they did so I’m unsure if I need to ship the item before is shows I got paid I just want to be on the safe side and not get scammed originally I thought it was a scam so I canceled the order but later on I received an email from an eBay handle telling me they will take legal action due to me cancelling the order but I did it only because I technically didn’t receive payment so what should I do and I have no way of contacting eBay directly.

This was your first sale on ebay, so your payment is on Hold. eBay places a 30 day hold on all new sellers payments until they prove to be reliable sellers. To get the funds released you need to ship the phone, and the amount the buyer paid for shipping is available to be used by you to buy your label through eBay which also automatically uploads the tracking number to your sold item so both ebay and the buyer know you have shipped it. OP9 months agoEven tho on eBay app says awaiting payment I also don’t have a shipping label and am i supposed to pay for the shipping label and cost of shipping on my own ?
