Receiving Payment as a Seller
I'm a new seller, and Ebay's explanation of how to receive payments from buyer's is as clear as mud. First, if Ebay no longer uses PayPal to payout funds, then how does it know my PayPal e-mail address? Second, the account I set up seems to be for Buyer a checkout only. There is no indication that this how I will receive payment as a SELLER. I've searched several online resources and they all point to the same solution which, as I said before, is as clear as mud. I'd like to resolve this issue BEFORE I list any items. Can someone help?

When you start listing your first item, eBay will ask you to set up your seller payment account, which is a checking account with a real bank. That is where your payments will be sent, not to PayPal. eBay doesn’t need to know your PayPal email address unless you want to use it for buying.
