Why does it take so long to receive your money after the you scan the buyers QR code at pickup. It seems wrong to have the buyer receive their items and you have to wait for the money

As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers can experience holds for up to 31 days.
