Receiving an item that was not as described
Hi,
What recourse do we have if the vehicle we purchased arrives in much poorer condition than was indicated in the listing? The seller completely misrepresented the vehicle's condition and functionality. Additionally, the seller convinced us (and we have emails to prove it) to pay him directly by dropping the winning bid price by $500 so he could save on the fees he would have had to pay eBay. I'm afraid that this has crippled us of any recourse. Does anyone have any insight as to how to take on this issue?

Mentor2 years agoMotor vehicle sales are non-binding. You should have had a mechanic inspect the vehicle before paying the seller.
Fees for motor vehicles are not charged FVF based on the price you paid. The fees for listing a motor vehicle are $19, $49 or $79 depending on the features on the listing. Period. No other charges to the seller.
