Receiving a package with postage due
Received a package with postage due, and reached out to the seller for a refund, but she is not responding. She mailed a USPS package in a Priority box, but printed a Ground label and mailed it off to me. You can't downgrade a Priority shipmemt to Ground. I got stuck with paying basically 2x the stated postage. What now? Am I out or will eBay step in?

Mentor1 year agoPaying postage due is a valid reason to file an "Item not as described" case. Unfortunately you will need to return the item to get a full refund of what you originally paid. eBay cannot force the seller to pay you back for the postage due. The seller can choose to make a partial refund instead of requiring the return of the item. You must open the case within 30 days of receipt of the item.
