Received stolen merchandise, seller refuses to respond
I purchased $9000 leak detection equipment for my business, when I received the equipment, it was missing a couple of parts to make it functional.
I contacted the dealer for this product in my State to get these parts, in doing so requested they serial number of the unit to make sure I was getting the right parts. The dealer issued me a quote, and when I got the money together to order the parts and contacted the dealer again, he informed me that the serial number had been flagged as stolen merchandise.
I tried contacting the seller, but they will not respond, and I am not sure how to proceed from this point.

I see that the listing does have the eBay Money Back Guarantee. The 30 days limit may have expired though as the item was sold on June 24.
You have only 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request on eBay.
If it IS over 30 days then you will have to file a chargeback with your bank or credit card. An eBay agent can't extend the 30 days limit.
Once you do go to your bank or credit card eBay can no longer assist you.
