Received phone with Activation Lock
I purchased a phone on here and it has an activation lock. I contacted the seller and they essentially said they will not do anything because "they thoroughly review the IMEI number to all their phones to make sure theres no activation lock" even though that is not possible because the IMEI number doesn't show on the back of the phone so you'd have to open the phone to access it-which you can't do because of the lock.
We unfortunately just recently got the charger for the phone so we barely were able to turn it on and notice the lock but the return window has passed. I mentioned to the seller it was illegal to sell stolen property and they replied to start a return but we cannot. Is there any chance we can somehow still get the money back? Thanks in advance.
