Received a package for an item I bought and it was an empty package
Trying to figure out my best and quickest recourse, I bought pre order item and when I received the package today it was an empty box, I do not believe it was stolen as when I looked at the packing slip the weight was way less than it should have been, I fully believe the seller sent me an empty box. I tried contacting the buyer but it looks like this account is no longer active, I have already sent ebay a message and just looking for advice how I can speed this process up and get my money back! thank you

Mentor1 year agoThe seller may have done this to one too many buyers and they had too many claims to deal with.
You need to file a claim right away. It does need to be an items not as described. And make sure you add in there the info about the package weight. That is VERY important.
Please keep me informed. I'm happy to help you if there are any hiccups along the way, but I really would like to know how things turn out for you.
Go and take a look at your purchase history. You can find it on the top right of any Ebay page. Hover over the words My Ebay. A menu will appear, click on Purchase history. Find the transaction. Look to the right there is likely to be a large blue box you can click on that says Return This Item.

1. Go to Purchase history.
2. Select More actions beside your item and then Return this Item.
3. Now you select the reason you are requesting the return for refund.
4. You have the option of adding a message to the seller.
5. Select Send request.
