Received a fake item that was authenticated
I ordered a $1,000 jacket 13 months ago from eBay. It was authenticity guarantee & I trusted eBay. I’ve never seen the authentic jacket in person so I had nothing to compare it to. Today I went to sell it & found out it’s INCREDIBLY fake. Not real leather, misspelling on the item care tag, different fabric on the regular tag. I am absolutely heartbroken. The worst part? It’s impossible to get ahold of anyone from eBay because the order is more than 90 days old. What am I supposed to do? Take an L on the most expensive clothing item I’ve ever bought? Even though eBay AUTHENTICATED it. I understand I’m about a year too late but this doesn’t take away from how horrible this situation feels.
