received a ebay notice that my item price is too high

I have received a daily recommendation message from ebay that states that the price of my item is 43% greater than that of similar items. I am offering free shipping on my item and the total price with shipping is less than $20. I have checked multiple items on ebay that are exactly the same as my item (brand, style, etc) and that also include free shipping. The price of the exact same items with free shipping are all over $20 (i.e. $23.99, $25.99, $27.99 and up.) It appears that my total item cost is not greater than that of similar items.
I am therefor unclear as to why I am receiving this recommendation from ebay and what to do about this recommendation. Must I change my item price ? Will my rating with ebay be affected if I do not change my price (or eliminate free shipping to lower my price?)
