Received a counterfeit fragrance—are there any steps beyond requesting a return?
I recently received a fragrance I purchased on eBay that I have verified to be counterfeit.
I have already initiated a return and requested a refund, but I wanted to check if there are any additional steps I should take to report the seller or protect my account.
Is the return process sufficient, or should I take further action? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The return request for an item that is not as described is the way you report the seller.
I'm unclear on what you mean by protecting your account. This would have no negative impact on your account.

Sellers are unable to leave negative feedback for buyers, so no worries there.

Hope this message finds you well
Could you please help me again?
I requested eBay intervention for a return, and although the item was sent back to the seller, eBay's 48-hour window for a resolution has now extended to over a week without any update.
I am struggling to reach a human representative because the chat feature only connects to an AI bot.
Do you have any advice on how I can resolve this or contact a live agent?

It's best to start a new thread when you need help with a different issue. That way, a mentor may respond more quickly. Mentors volunteer there time and may or may not be answering questions for periods of time.
But to speak with a CS rep, in the chatbox, type the word Agent. That way you'll get an option to request a callback. You may have to be persistent to get past the AI response, but if you persevere, you should eventually get the option.
