Reasonable shipping costs
What does it mean when eBay dings me for “reasonable shipping costsâ€. I am a new seller and almost on every item I have had to pay some money out of my own pocket bc I am not charging the customer enough but on 2 occasions I overcharged by about $4.00. I’m not sure if I am being dinged for overcharging or undercharging? I am still learning and correct shipping costs have been my biggest headache.

Mentor3 years ago@anniesfavfinds Did eBay say something or did a buyer give you a lower star rating on shipping? I get a lower star rating on shipping price a couple times a year, usually from new members that have no clue how much it costs to ship items,
The best way to handle shipping is calculated shipping> buyer pays. If you enter the correct package size and weight then the buyer is not over or undercharged.
You can pass on the discounted shipping rate if you chose to in account settings.

Be sure to buy your shipping labels on eBay since they cost less than at the post office.
