Really rude buyer wants refund for an item that they don't like
I sold an item recently and the buyer immediately contacted me and said the item was damaged. I asked for a photo of it. What he sent me matched the photo on the original listing because the item did have some pretty clear imperfections. So there was no damage per se that occurred during shipping. The listing said I did not accept returns. He asked for a return. I told him that if he mailed it back to me (with him paying his own shipping costs) then I would give him a refund because I felt I could re-list it on ebay. He then got pretty uncivil and TOLD ME to accept the return and then made some pretty obnoxious comments. Anyway, I really want to tell this guy to go stick it but I have a feeling that ebay will back him up and we're not talking much money here. Any advice? I may just have to suck it up and give him the refund but then add him to the blocked buyer list and move on.

When a buyer files a Return Request with a valid reason per the Ebay Money Back Guarantee, sellers are obligated to approve the return, provide the prepaid return shipping label and refund the buyer when the returned item is received.
