Is it possible to speak with a real person? I need to return something I bought ahead of time for my wifeâ€™s birthday and it doesnâ€™t work. The return window closed before her birthday

@natemaclean1. I'm sorry but an eBay agent will not be able to extend the 30 day Money Back Guarantee.

You will need to contact your bank or credit card to file a chargeback for an item that is significantly not as described.

Talking to an agent is not necessary.

Just prepare yourself for a return. Start with opening a return request for an item that doesnâ€™t match the listing. You generally have 30 calendar days from the estimated or actual delivery date to do so.

From the wrong item, you have to make pictures - at least one - and upload them.

The seller has to accept the return and provide a return label. (Or send shipping money, before you return with tracking.)

The seller has to provide a clear return address.

Ask eBay to step in, if the seller doesn't cooperate. You can do that 3 full business days later.
