Re-route parcel

I am currently on holiday from the UK in Florida until 07th of August and purchased this item from you.
I found out yesterday that I am unable to receive parcels delivered through the USPS mail system after having 2 others returned to sender. It turns out that USPS will not deliver items to this holiday vacation home.
I have now found a local package depot who I can have them sent to. I have tried to use the USPS website to redirect this item but it will not accept the address I am at and allow me to re-route them myself.
Anyone had this issue before and managed to solve it?

So let me understand this, your UK account was set up with the US vacation home address while you are here in the US right? But, USPS will not deliver to that vacation home right? You are trying to have USPS redirect the page(s) to a different address right?
Unfortunately, here is what I found: "USPS has discontinued one of its popular intercept services: the ability to reroute packages to a different address. Previously, shippers could utilize this service on the USPS intercept page, and could reroute a package marked with an incorrect address label to the correct destination."
Note however that they state that "... Previously, shippers ... ": what that means is the shipper of record would be the Seller not the Buyer.
Your packages will be returned to the Sender ...

OP3 years agoYeh, I'm here from the UK. Changed my delivery address to the house I'm staying at. After speaking to the USPS guy on the phone on Thursday he said that they don't deliver to holiday homes like the one we are in.
I have tried online using the USPS website to hold at post office, intercept or re-route and it won't allow me to because of the address I am at. Even though I have found a package receiving depot 15 miles from me who I could re-route to.
