RE: request to cancel return
I bought an air fryer it came damaged and dented I sent pictures to eBay and to the seller the seller says keep it I'll send you a new one but you have to request to cancel. I'm afraid if I request to cancel I lose my 50 something dollars?

In your Purchase history you can file a return claim using the reason Arrived damaged, you will be sent a Pre Paid shipping label at the Seller's expense. Return the item to the Seller and they will have 2 days to Refund you, if they don't then go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in. You do not need to message the Seller anymore, just let the system work for you.
With the pictures you sent with damage the Seller can refund you at any time. But they haven't.

OP2 years agoI did file the return claim with eBay with pictures of damage immediately upon arrival... it did show money back guarantee but he won't send me the label he just keeps sending me messages to cancel the return.

Mentor2 years agoHi @smoorenotless Do NOT cancel the return, your original post did not mention you filed the return. If you used the reason Arrived damage you should have been sent the label by eBay ... check your messages, the return claim and emails for that. WHAT reason did you select on the return claim?
If you cancel the return the Seller will not refund you or send you a new one ... they could have sent you a new one already ...

OP2 years agoYou have helped a lot thank you. I did write the seller this morning and said I would cancel the request if he sent me the new one he said he was sending but since you only have till the 31st for returns and eBay won't start on anything until the 31st it's me waiting I guess thank you again appreciate the knowledge

Mentor2 years ago@smoorenotless 30 days from the date of confirmed delivery to you is the cut off for filing a return claim ... ask the seller to give you the tracking number of the replacement shipment.
