RE: media mail shipping
Does anyone know if there is a way to contact eBay directly and get them to remove media mail as a default shipping for books? USPS will ONLY accept this as a shipping option educational material, and having it as a default option creates confusion for some buyers who think they can get a cheaper shipping rate using that. I had an instance where a buyer flat out refused to pay for the "extra" shipping for a book sale because they thought I should be able to send it media mail, but my local post office is very strict about that and yes, they WILL check to see if what I send meets their requirements. In the end, she canceled the purchase, even though it clearly stated in the listing that media mail was not an option

·2 years agoYou need to talk to the Post master, all books qualify for Media Mail along with any form a book may take tape, record , etc. I have Mailed many items via Media Mail . I don't have it handy but you may need to show them the Postly registration.
