QVC says item I bought from a seller on ebay was fraud and that I owe them for it??????????

Quick question, In March of this year in purchased an item from a seller on Ebay. I received the item a week later. Today July 13 I received two letters from QVC that had someone else's name but my street address I opened one letter and found that someone had placed a fraud use on the ebay account that we purchased our item from and QVC was wanting payment from this person that we never heard of. WE don't even own a Mastercard. I called QVC and they told me to pay for the item and get a refund from Ebay. That's not going to happen. Ebay site says do not pay QVC that we were protected under their buyer protection program. How do I get talk to a real ebay person ,I've tried for over an hour to contact a real person.

Mentor1 month agoeBay would have never refunded you as their money back guaranty is only good for 30 days from receipt. It sounds like the seller paid for the items from QVC with a stolen credit card and found out who the seller sold the items to so is trying to go after you. I am not sure that you have any legal obligation for this but it would not hurt to ask a lawyer if you know one.

OP1 month agoWe're not paying for it as we already paid for it once. I'm sure ebay refunded the legit owner of the card. I'm just going to forward the 2 demand letters the fraud department of the Ky Attorney Generals office .QVC needs to take it up with Ebay.
