Questionable shipping
When did eBay start using Walmart to deliver their packages? I ordered Keystone beef on eBay then I started receiving Keystone beef from Walmart delivery. A couple of days later on the tracking page he said it was delivered from usps but no package was delivered. What the world is going on

Mentor1 week ago@bubbacats Sellers that dropship from retail locations or other websites are violating the eBay Drop Shipping policy. A seller can only dropship if the OWN the merchandise in the other sites warehouse. If it comes with a gift receipt then you know that the seller is violating eBay policy.
While what my fellow Mentors have stated is true on how to avoid the problem you are within your rights as a buyer to file a not as described return request case if you wish. This is allowed because the site you bought from was eBay NOT Walmart.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories. Trading cards, bullion, coins, paper money, and items that are sold as not working or for parts you only have 3 days from the date of delivery to file a refund request case.
Here's what you need to do:
You should open a Return Request. Reason> Doesn't Match photos and description
Select the return item button on this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.

It may not be possible to always identify in advance those sellers who drop-ship, but it is possible to identify some common characteristics of illicit retail drop-shippers or other under-performing sellers, and thus avoid the worst of them.
Often they can be spotted by a combination of low feedback number, free shipping of heavy items where it would not be profitable to use retail shipping, use of stock photos, high handling time (not necessarily if they are using Amazon or Walmart, though), poor feedback received with complaints of delays and wrong items or out of stock cancellations, very odd item selection and/or quantities like items were chosen at random from a catalog, canned item descriptions scraped from another site that exactly match many other similar listings, differences between registration location on the feedback page and item location (or vague item location -- like "US, United States"), or inability to answer even basic questions about the items being sold.

Mentor1 week ago@bubbacats Ebay does NOT set the carrier for sellers. You actually do not purchase anything directly from Ebay, it is always from the individual seller.
If you get the item you ordered for the price you agreed to then there should be no issue. Some sellers do drop ship.
But if you don't get your item, then you should file an INR [item not received] claim.
I'm not sure who "he said" is? Do you mean the seller? The seller has no ability to mark something as delivered. So did you get a package from Walmart? Whether or not USPS was used, did you receive the product from Walmart?

OP1 week ago · EditedYes, received plastic bag from Walmart with product in it and a sticker on the bag from Walmart.
The seller sent me photographs that Walmart took of my product delivered on my front porch.

Mentor1 week agoThe you got what you ordered and paid for. Your only issue is that it came from Walmart instead of some other address where the seller should be shipping from, is that correct? I suppose it is your choice, you can file for a return of the item if you want, however there is nothing wrong with the product you got or you didn't disclose that. So what reason would you choose?
I know some have real problems with sellers that dropship. But IMHO if the seller is being responsible and taking care of their buyers, shipping what the buyer paid for in the timeframe the listing says, I'm unsure of what the problem is. Is it because you feel you could have gone to Walmart and purchased it for the same price?
But you need to do whatever is right for you. I wish you the best.
