Question regarding W Goebel porcelain figurine
 
 
I have a lot of four figurines marked W Goebel Rodental on a metal tag. Each tag states Arbeitsmuster and on the piece is painted Malmuster. I did find that Malmuster means Master painter. Each piece is also carefully numbered around the feet, waist or dress hem. I can’t find anything like this referenced online or for sale. Does anyone have information on what these might be? They have a open top that runs through the bottom of the piece with no markings on the bottom.
