Question Regarding the Authenticity Guarantee (for sports memorabilia) through PSA
I have a question about a card I recently purchased that underwent the eBay(PSA) authentication process. This is the process where collectibles are sent to a PSA authenticator for inspection before they are sent to the buyer (or the PSA Vault if that is desired by the customer).
In the past, when I purchased a card that went through this process, the slab arrived in a soft plastic sleeve that had a tamper proof decal holding it shut. This recent purchase arrived and it looked like the sleeve had been sliced open along both sides. The slab itself can be slid out of the damaged sleeve. I’m sure that this must be an error. How do I go about having this card enclosed in an undamaged sleeve?
I have attempted to figure out how to contact customer support at eBay, but I just seem to get in an endless loop of AI generated messages that don't help. I need to speak to a human about this, because the help I need is with a problem generated by eBay's associated partners at PSA. It's too complex to make an AI bot understand.
