Question RE: Buyer return of a watch
If anyone would be willing to shed some light on this, I would appreciate it: We had a watch up for auction with a "buy it now" price. A buyer offered the "buy it now" price and paid. We shipped the watch to Ebay's verifier/authenticator and it was in fact authenticated and then forwarded to the buyer.
Now, the buyer has started a return (and it looks like Ebay has initiated his request). The buyer used, "does not match description or photos", as his reason for return.
We did our best to describe the watch and posted several pictures from different angles. We certainly did not use a deceptive description and our pictures were taken to the best of our ability.
Here is the return reason the buyer wrote:
there are no side photos of the watch and there is considerable damage/use marks on the sides not in any photos. the watch crown also possibly has been replaced and there are no photos in the listing of the watch crown from the side. i understand the item is used but there were no photos to reference the complete condition. the pushers are also of different sizes but this was in the photos.
What is usually done in a situation like this?
