Question on how to set a flat rate for shipping without using ebay labels or label prices
Hello, a few months ago i sold an item and chose to let ebay create the usps shipping label. I didn't put the dimensions on the ebay label request. When I went to ship the item, usps said shipping was paid by ebay and they charged me over $100 to ship when it should have been $11. I filed the complaint with ebay and they said it was a usps issue. I never got the refund. So, in the old days i could create a flat shipping rate and use my own label. Is this still possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mentor2 years agoYou must put in weight and dimensions, as well as the shipping service to be used, if you want the shipping cost to be correct. This has to be done whether you use ebay's discounted labels or your own.
Just choose Flat Rate in the shipping section and put in your own price you want the buyer to pay. When it come time to ship just don't create an ebay discounted label, but do come back to manually upload the tracking number from you own label.
