Question on handling an item not received when it was delivered
I received a refund request from a buyer stating only one item was sent but 2 actually were. I investigated this at the post office and responded to the buyer the following and also uploaded the tracking information. This was several days ago and the buyer is not responding. Do I need to do anything additional?
"I inquired at my local post office regarding this package. Initial shipping weight of package was 1 lb 8.00 oz. Each boxed bottle weighed in at exactly 10.00 oz. Two bottles would come to approximately 20.0 oz or 1 lb 4 oz - allowing 4 oz for shipping materials. Items were delivered on 07/19/25 13:55. The bottles were shipped packaged back to back in clear cellophane, then wrapped in tissue paper and surrounded by tissue and bubble wrap. Please thoroughly inspect the package, with the two bottles back to back they may appear to only be one box. If one is missing we can open investigate further with the USPS. We will figure this out - Thank you for reaching out to me."
"They only shipped one item and I paid for two."

Since the buyer filed a refund request due to item not received, all you have to do is respond to the request with the tracking number and tracking information that proves delivery.
