Question on buyer cancelation made before tracking showed item shipped, attempted message all >24h
Only a question for future reference as it seems the seller is not obligated to respond after funds are received. Small automotive part: drum brake cylinder ordered. In less than 12h cancelation request denied and contact attempt ignored same day. Record agrees request made and contact seller attempted before shipped confirmation via tracking number agrees with order of events. The seller has positive Record for business. Is it not bad business to not at least reach out and explain request denial as the request was made politely. It could have saved both buyer and seller time and the process of starting a return. Obviously I'll receive the part that I ordered and paid for but is this not a low integrity move by the seller? Obviously also cancelation is frowned upon but it was requested because of time constraints on myself the buyer. I'm not a malicious actor nor am I asking a negative be placed on the buyer. I would just like some experience to chime in here. I unfortunately was unable to consult a representative as my mobile device is temporarily under consideration for repair or replacement leaving my sim in a tablet that Verizon refuses to temporarily enable calls and text on. With only mobile data email or site forums my only option. It was infuriating more because of the absolute feeling of helplessness without the ability to verify by text or receive a call from a representative. I've be denied access to many applications and crucial services because I've been unable to immediately replace or repair my Galaxy S23 Ultra Android that cost me dearly. Nobody needs to be curtious with their answers, just set me straight please for future reference. Thank you for your time and attention.
