Question

what happens when seller sells you an item and sends you a different item. then goes on the site and says none left, then comes back on site and says it costs more money. so, what seller did instead of losing money they sent me different product that was valued at same price as I paid. then looked back at listing and price is higher now. same product he is supposedly out of. this is fraud.

Ebay has a Money Back Guarantee, so you can file a Return Request since you did not receive the correct item. Within 30 days from date of delivery, go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under â€œMore actionsâ€ click on â€œReturn itemâ€ and select the reason for the return. â€œdoesn't match descriptionâ€œ. Attach a photo. IF your request is approved, the seller will have 3 business days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item. If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 business days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.
