Question about shipping cost
Hello,
I have a question
If I choose to ship the item using my own carrier USPS and pay the shipping cost myself, how is the buyer’s shipping payment handled?
Specifically, I would like to confirm:
Whether the shipping amount paid by the buyer is
included in my payout
And whether any additional shipping charges will be deducted by eBay if I do not purchase an eBay shipping label

I forgot to add that having a no returns policy does not fly in the face of ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) policy. No returns only protects you from buyer's remorse returns, but you have to accept returns if an item arrives damaged, is not as described, not working... etc.

If you already have a USPS account you can use that to purchase your shipping labels and there is no fee for that. However, you will have to manually add the tracking number for your shipments to the sale, so that ebay knows if you met your handling time and if the customer received the item. If your USPS account is not a commercial one you will be paying retail rates but if you purchase the labels through ebay there is a discount. Also since you are a returning seller after over a year of not selling, your payments will be held, but if you purchase your shipping labels through ebay the amount the buyer paid for shipping is available to use to buy the label. Whereas if you buy the label elsewhere you pay that out of pocket, but are reimbursed when your payment clears. The two links below explain how to set up your shipping options and the payment hold.

When you sell an item ebay does take their fees from the total amount the buyer pays, which includes the shipping cost. Buying your labels through ebay, their label discount just about mitigates the fee paid for your shipping cost.
