Question about returning an item that does not fit
I purchased a jacket through a seller who stated that they do not accept returns. The jacket does not fit. The seller is willing to accept the jacket to be returned in exchange for a refund $50 less than what I paid for it. I will have to pay the shipping charges to send it back.
Is this a fair agreement?

Mentor2 years agoDid you order the wrong size, or did the description list the wrong size?
If you ordered the wrong size (doesn't fit), then what is fair is for seller to refund for the item cost only and not the original shipping cost with you paying return shipping.
If the item was not described properly in the listing as to size (Item Not as Described), seller pays for the return and refunds in full.

OP2 years agoThank you for your advice. The size of the jacket was listed properly but didn't fit me. Unfortunately the seller has now turned off the option to return the jacket so I guess I'll have to get Ebay involved?
