question about a return
I bought a 1000 piece used puzzle for $21.00. The ad read that all his puzzles are guaranteed. The puzzle is defective as they do not lock, One touch of the pieces they separate and you can only pick up one piece at a time.
I contacted the seller and told him about this issue . I mentioned his ad about pieces being guaranteed and wondered how he could sell a puzzle in this condition. He said just the piece count is guaranteed. I asked how can you tell the puzzle is complete if you do not do it personally. If you did the puzzle you would know its defective. He said his daughters count the pieces!!
Even if the pieces are all there I can not do this puzzle. He offered me a swap in his collection. I replied taht I already spent $21.00 for a puzzle that belongs in the trash. I do not want to pay any other money for shipping.
What recourse do I have?
Thanks

Mentor3 years agoOpen a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, defective. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
