QR Code from Buyer?
It is my first time selling something on ebay. Buyer sent me a QR code where it is asking me to verify my account.
This seems like a really strange transaction process to have a QR code sent by the buyer. I have already checked my account settings and it looks like my payment info is linkedIs this someone trying to hack my info or is this expected for first time sellers?

Just emphasizing that this is a scam. Don't scan it.
If a "buyer" wants you to do anything on this list, don't do it:
1) text them/give them your cell phone number,
2) add them on Instagram or other social media,
3) give them your PayPal address or email address,
4) communicate outside of eBay messages,
5) send them a "code" that you will get on your phone,
6) buy a gift card to send with the order,
7) pay you outside of the eBay system,
8 ) send them a refund outside of the eBay system,
9) click a link to “enable purchases for new buyers” or "enable for international money orders",
10) “upgrade” your account to a business account,
11) Scan a QR code to approve a sale or confirm payment
12) mail the package to another address,
13) send photos or videos by email (you can send photos in eBay messages),
14) do anything else that seems odd/wrong.

Mentor1 month agoDo not scan it, this is some type of new scam to be sure. Put this buyer on your blocked list.
