QR code for $10 off purchase for installing android app

Question

I received an ebay offer for $10 off purchase thru app offer if I install Android. I scanned the QR code a couple weeks ago, but only installed the app yesterday, and I don't see indication of where I will get the $10. I uninstalled the app, re-installed it, added an item to my cart, went up to checkout, and still nothing. There is a place to enter a promo/discount code of course, but I have no idea what to enter as I scanned the QR symbol a couple weeks back don't know what I would enter to simulate that.

Anyone able to get me pointed in the right direction, or better yet, a direct solution? Thx in advance.

You are likely right about that. I went to the Summary/Myebay page in both the desktop and android app, and no vouchers or similar is listed. Actually, the first time I installed the android app, I scoured thru the entire app pages, options, etc, trying to find it, assuming since I had scanned the QR code that surely it would be stored somewhere... but, no luck. Downloaded the app and looked thru it again, and nothing comes up.

When you downloaded the eBay app, a coupon code should have been copied to your clipboard.

At checkout, if you tap the coupon code field on the payments screen, see if a code appears at the top of the pop-up keyboard onscreen.

If you cannot find the code, try using a desktop browser to view your Summary page; active coupons are often displayed there with links to the fine print.
