PWE No tracking any suggestions

Need some advice please!

Been selling a couple years, have a great rating. Customer purchased a card for $15 dollars had not received the card after about 21 days, they opened up a case with eBay and of course got the refund which I’m not upset about. The issue is eBay ask for proof it was shipped how do you do that with no tracking. Would love some suggestions. Sold about 600 cards so far this year probably about only the second time this has happened.

@bigdogscards3564 eBay Standard Envelope is metered mail and the tracking can only be read by the sorting equipment.

It is important that the envelope is flexible enough to bend around a standard coffee mug with no lumps, no bubble envelopes or string closures.

Due to the type of tracking these often do not receive delivery confirmation. Treat these shipments as no news is good news. If the buyer doesn't receive the item then refund them from a item not received refund request case and file a PIP insurance claim.

Your payout may not be released for up to 31 days if there is no delivery scan.

For future shipments check to see if your post office has a Metered mail drop off box VS the big blue drop box.

Did you use ebay's Standard Envelope for shipping? If not and you just put a stamp on it, you just lose and move on.
