Put Feedback on Wrong Item, Now What?
Summary: jwiede_sjca accidentally left feedback for a new purchase instead of an order they had just received and is unable to correct the mistake on the platform. I had just purchased an item, and then went to put feedback on an order I'd just received. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying close attention and instead of posting feedback to the order received, I wound up posting the feedback for the received item on the brand new purchase.
Now what? I requested the new purchase vendor send a feedback revision, but that just makes me a problem for them. Why cant I just identify to Ebay and they delete the mistake? They can easily see theres no way I was even in a position to leave feedback for an item purchased minutes before that requires shipping, but I see no way to contact them about such an issue.
Any help appreciated!

Once you leave feedback you can not remove or change it. If you left positive feedback for the wrong item the seller can not send a feedback revision request because you can not revise a positive.

OP3 weeks agoLovely, so now I simply have no recourse if the new item seller mishandles? Ebay lack of cust service really getting out of hand, their systens shouldnt have even allowed feedback on that new purchase yet.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy which is only for buyers remorse returns such as changed mind, doesn't fit, etc.
