Purple Rolex Sold on Ebay
Summary: stevebigguy430 is experiencing issues with selling a Rolex watch on eBay that they originally purchased many years ago. After listing the watch, which was valued between $1,700 and $3,400, it sold for $4,600. However, eBay pulled the listing and requested a receipt, which stevebigguy430 cannot provide. Despite offering to send the watch to eBay for authenticity verification, their appeal was rejected. They are seeking advice on how to proceed as they need to sell the watch due to illness.
Bought Rolex Watch many years ago from Ebay and can not find sale history goes back to 2017 bought at least 25 years ago. Put same watch up for sale and was listed and valued from $1,700-$3,400 by Ebay experts. Watch was sold for asking price of $4,600 and Ebay pulled listing. Had recently serviced Watch and put on $600 replacement leather strap. Ebay wants receipt of sale. Not possible. Offered to send watch to Ebay to verify authenticity before sending on to buyer. Know watch is real have had it serviced twice and that wouldn't have happened with fake Rolex. Appealed decision and Ebay rejected appeal. Does have off market face but mechanics are Rolex. Any advise. Am 74 and trying to sell watch due to illness

Mentor3 months ago@stevebigguy430 I am sorry that you are dealing with this issue trying to sell your watch. Unfortunately there really is not much information about a purchase that long ago that would satisfy what eBay is asking for.
You can request a data report that will at least show that you bought the watch on eBay>

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but since eBay rejected the appeal that means you will have to sell the watch elsewhere.
