Purchasing as guest

Question

I inadvertently purchased a very high priced item as a guest...item listed as new...item arrived 5 days later...used and not matching the listing...unable to contact seller or get any useful information to return/refund.

Any help or suggestions

Guest purchases are not connected to your eBay account so you will either need to sign out of your eBay account first to use the link in the email, or else open the link in a private or incognito browser window.

When you purchase as a guest the purchase is totally separate from any account purchase. You will need to find the purchase email confirmation that you received when you made the purchase. There are special log in instructions in the email. This will allow you to open any case or request that you need.
