Purchases with gift card
I dont even know where this goes, is ebay scared to accept their own gift cards? Why do they sell them if they wont accept them?
"You've reached your gift card limit. Try again later."
that kinda crap is unacceptable because you can't get a refund for gift card. they'll let you buy their money but not spent it?
Maybe chargebacks is the new route?

I’m thinking you really don’t want an answer, but just in case - the rules set for the number and amount of gift cards that can be used per transaction and per month are in place to comply with federal anti-money laundering regulations.
If you hit the monthly limit, you only have to wait a few days before it should reset. This might be less hassle than a chargeback.

Mentor1 year agoI reported it for you. You can do it as well. Click on the down arrow (top right of page) and select "report inappropriate content."

OP1 year agoThank you for providing me with the information I already knew, and none of it has any relevance to a gift card limit.
Purchased a gift card, and they won't accept it at checkout.
I guess I'll provide this thread to my credit card company when they ask for proof of why I'm doing a charge back.
