Purchaser is requesting an invoice to be paid

Question

Someone purchased an item from me almost 2 days ago and I sent them a copy of their invoice thru Ebay; they replied back asking if I could text their invoice or email it to them. I havenâ€™t did either and I donâ€™t plan to but does this seem odd for a customer to ask of this request? Could this be a scam? They still have not paid me for the item. I also noticed they are new to eBay, since January, 2023, and they paid double of my asking price on the item they purchased from me.

Don't do it!! It is a SCAM!!!

They just want your phone #/email address so they can send you a fake payment receipt.

After 4 days of non-payment have passed, you can cancel the transaction on day 5 due to "buyer didn't pay".
