purchased items listings dissapear

it seems now that when i get an item from ebay and go into purchase history and want to see the listing again it is not there. sometimes i get an item that has an issue that i need to ask the sell about but the listing is gone and i can't go and review the listing to see if i missed something before i contact the seller.
like i ordered a dog nail clipper on the 21st of may it gets to me on the 24th of may and fails to charge. so i wanted to go look at the listing to see if i missed any statement that said it had an issues even though it was listed as new. this way if i missed that, it is on me and not the seller so i can do good FB if it was on me. and neg FB if they said it was good and it fails to work. so how can i go and see the original listing now.

OP4 months agoi;m sighned in under my user name i click on the item i got and it goes to another page for a second and the goe to items similar to what i got. let me clear the cookies and see if by chance they are messing with me.

eBay sometimes tries to redirect to a current listing or similar listings.
Try pasting the item number into a link like this in place of the item number at the end:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/365749807558
Sometimes signing in to ebay.ca instead of ebay.com allows a page to be found more easily, as redirections work differently there, and sometimes listings are kept around longer.
If that does not help and you are willing to share the item number I can try to see if I can provide direct link to the original listing.

OP4 months agook i think i got it. i looked into one of the popup blockers and ebay was in there, so i removed that item from the u-block list and the item did return and soe did all the other items in purchase history. thanks for jogging my old brain it seems now i can see the items i got after they have arrived. it turns out that item i talked about was stated as new in the box and it fails to work. so i have to see if she will take it back even though the listing says no returns. again thanks

If an item is not as described, you should be able to start and win a "not as described" case and get a refund. The seller's stated return policy only applies to "remorse" returns, not to "not as described" returns.

OP4 months agothey did reply and said put in for a refund but all i found was return. i can return it but i bet it will cost more for postage that it will be worth. but i will send it back if she tells me to, thanks

If an item is not as described, it is up to the seller to pay for the return shipping if the seller wants the item back, or to refund without a return if not.

Do you see the transaction in your Purchase History? If so, you should be able to see the original listing by following the link to the item by clicking on the item title. You may have to follow a link to the original listing at that point. Some folks had problems with the link yesterday, but if that was the problem it should be working again now.
If you do not see the transaction in your Purchase History, is it possible that you purchased that item using a different eBay account? Or as a guest?
If you are certain you purchased using this eBay account, make sure you are checking the correct date range in your Purchase History, or see if the order appears here:
