Purchased Item with Suspended Account, What to Do?
Hello eBay Community,
I need urgent assistance with an eBay issue. I initially tried to purchase an Airpods Pro 2nd Gen charging case with my primary eBay account but encountered a temporary restriction. So, I created a new account and successfully made the purchase. Unfortunately, the new account was permanently suspended right after.
I believe I should still receive the item, but I'm concerned about tracking and delivery. Any advice on resolving this or communicating with eBay support would be greatly appreciated.

Mentor2 years agoYou're not allowed to open a new account to get around a restriction. Since you were caught, the seller was most likely told not to ship. I don't know how or if you will receive your money back.
At the link below, you can request a call back from eBay by clicking Have us call you on the left side of the page. If you don't see that option, click Chat with our automated assistant. Then type "agent" at the bottom in the chat box. You'll see an option to request a call back there.

OP2 years agoThanks. is there any way to get my money back or will i still recieve my package? i spent 46.90$ and i still think it's unfair to just get nothing when the purchase did go through. I already contacted the seller and im texting the support right now. how else can i remove the suspention or make sure i receive the package?

Mentor2 years agoPersonally, I would ask for a callback and skip the chat. It will take less time. The ONLY was to resolve this is to speak with eBay. Likely the seller was instructed not to communicate.

OP2 years agoI've finished the chat with an agent, i explained that there was no risk towards my account and asked to recieve my package, i even said it was fine if i didnt get the suspended account back but they said my purchase wouldnt go through. it's unfair since i spent 46$ for nothing basically. they asked me to contact my bank for the refund but im not sure theyre gonna do anything, if you have anything in your mind that could still help with the situation so i can get my package i'd appreciate it.

Mentor2 years agoeBay instructed the seller not to ship. The seller should follow those instructions. As already advised by eBay, you'll have to pursue a refund from your bank.

OP2 years agohow could bank possibly give me a refund? i payed with my own money not banks money. they dont owe me anything, besides i was able to contact another agent and she told me my package would arrive as normal and that she'd inform the seller so i'll just wait for the updates now.
