Purchased item was a misrepresentation, but not discovered until after 14 days.
I recently purchased an item from
richasdirt
It turns out the item was not what was advertised. Furthermore, elements of the item were deliberately blacked out to prevent any buyer from seeing that it was not what was being advertised. Unfortunately I wasn't able to realize this until after the 14 days have expired. I reached out to the seller and was basically told tough **bleep**.
Do I have any recourse other than contacting my credit card and reporting fraud? Is it even possible to contact eBay customer service on an order that is beyond the 14 days?

OP1 year agoI submitted one to eBay but I have not heard anything. As a follow-up question is there a way to write a review of the seller beyond the 14 day time period. The seller clearly used deceptive tactics to sell a product and now is ghosting me knowing that there is little I can do. People should be made aware of this.

Once you open an item not described case, eBay gives the seller 3 days to respond. The next day, you will be able to ask eBay to step in and you will be refunded.
Im not sure that eBay allows feedback when you are refunded. If you want to leave feedback, you have 60 days, so there is no hurry.
Do not go to your credit card until the eBay process has expired. Once you go to the CC, eBay will no longer work with you.
