Purchased item 10 days ago it still hasn't shipped, ebay wont let me report it yet
I purchased an item on Jan. 5, and the seller still has not shipped the item. I have contacted the seller twice, and I have not received a response. I tried going to report that I haven't received the item yet, but got an automated message saying that if I hadn't received the item by Jan. 27, I can contact ebay about the issue.
I think its a bit ridiculous that I have to wait this long in order to report an issue with my order. How can I get ebay to take action on this now??

Mentor1 year agoNot all sellers provide tracking, and even when tracking is provided that may not always display tracking updates in a timely fashion. So you have no way of knowing if your item is on its way or not, and there is little that you or eBay can do at this point, anyway.
You can file an "item not received" case the day after the last estimated delivery date shown at the time of your purchase. If the seller does not cooperate, after three business days you can ask eBay to step in and refund you.
