Purchased Card and Seller Deleted profile.
Hello,
I'm in need of some help because eBay fails with customer service.
I purchase a Skyridge Charizard for 8K - 8.6K after taxes. The seller was non-responsive before and after the transaction. Shame on me - I just saw others added to their cart and trusted eBay that I could make this purchase without getting burned. Long story short, the seller eventually deleted their profile after I reported them. However, the profile came back up and is now deleted again.
My money is tied up and not refunded, nor has the item shipped. How do I speak with someone at eBay who can actually look into this and help me?

Mentor6 months ago@crazed-collector So sorry that happened. A seller can not close their own account within 60 days of a sale. This means that eBay closed their account for suspicious activity.
You do have only 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a not received refund request on eBay> https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/get-help-item-hasnt-arrived?id=4042 Is it more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date? If it is NOT too late then the refund case is the best option then you just ask eBay to step in on the 4th business day and they will force a refund from the seller.
If it is more than 30 days late then try contacting customer service on social media to see if they can assist since the seller is banned now. Social media is the best option so that there is not a language barrier.
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

If eBay does not assist you then your last option is a fraud chargeback with your payment source. Do NOT try this until you talk to eBay. Once you go to your funding source eBay can no longer assist you.

Mentor6 months agoWhat is the latest estimated date of delivery according to the order details in your Purchase History? Has that date passed already?
IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
If the seller does not respond to the refund request, after 3 business days you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.
