Purchased as a guest and can't ask a question of the seller

Question

I purchased an item as a guest. Now that the item has arrived I want to ask a question of the seller but can't because the item is not attached to my account. If I log off and try again it asks me to log in. Can I get the transaction added to my account?

If you made the purchase using a guest account it will not be in your purchase history.

Log out of your eBay account and request the guest account details from this page:

https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065&st=

Then you can start a refund request, track your order, or contact the seller, from the guest account email. Do not log in to your regular eBay account.

If you need help starting a refund request here's how to contact customer service.

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Request a call back

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media

3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
