Purchased an email from Ebay, shipping and return was through Amazon
After many years of buying and selling on Ebay, questioning one of my latest purchases. The item was purchased on Ebay, it was shipped and received promptly. However, the size in the listing and size received was different. It took about 5 days back and forth to the seller to get return QR code, have not received my credit yet. The item was shipped by Amazon and I created the return on Ebay but I was told by the seller to take to UPS Store and have it scanned. The QR code said it would be shipped back to Amazon. Inside the original box there was a gift receipt and the order did show up as a valid order in Amazon not under my account.
Is this a normal process? Could I have just processed the return directly through Amazon and received a gift card which would have been much faster?
