Purchased a 2013 5th wheel off E-bay for $25K It was extremely mis-represented in the ad.
Purchased a 2013 Keystone 38' 5th wheel off E-bay for $25K. Paid next day with cashier check, RV is 1100 miles away. Booked transport through U-ship, cost $2900 to get it to Colorado.
I asked multiple questions, and the seller confirmed the RV to be in excellent condition with a new $5k fridge. Roof was in good condition and RV is in good condition. The RV arrived with no power cord to make anything work, the roof is all tore up and the fridge has a date code inside the door of 3/2013, so it is the original. Slides do not work correctly; Awning does not work, and all the carpets are destroyed and stained. Toilet has been leaking on the floor, rear bedroom window is broken. The list goes on and on. E-bay does not seem to want to help me. I have contacted the seller several times with no reply. Looks like I need to get a lawyer involved. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
