I just paid for an item and hadn't checked to buy the insurance which I want to do. How do I do that now? Thanks

No, it has to be added for an eligible item at the time of purchase with the original item. But you can check with the credit card you may have used to pay for the item and see if there is any warranty available for the item, sometimes they are available depending on the card/issuer.

Since you have not gotten the item yet and if they did not ship it, they can cancel the order and relist it so you can purchase it with the Protection Plan. Another option if the seller if willing to do this for you.
