Purchase not received
On 9/20/25 I purchased a camera lens from kenbaafou0. I was tracking the purchase but it was not delivered to my home. I contacted the seller who has refused to answer my questions. I have contacted my bank and local police department after filing a complaint with Ebay. Ebay says that my case is closed because the package was delivered. UPS says the package was not from the Ebay seller but from Amazon and I was not listed as the recipient. The seller took my money, used an Amazon tracking number and I have not received the lens. Now Ebay won't reopen my case and I'm out over $700. What else can I do to try to get my money back?

It sounds like you are a victim of a false tracking scam.
I'm sorry that happened. eBay unfortunately does not have a consistent way of dealing with the false tracking scam issue. This is a problem not just with bad sellers on eBay but other sites too.
All you can do now is work with your bank for a fraud chargeback.

Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller use a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
